The large, drawing room style living and dining room is finished to the highest standard and fit for a king. Rest your weary legs after a long day’s exploring in the city, enjoying quiet contemplation whilst you bask in the sunlight from the large bay windows. If you need some stimulation, your entertainment needs are more than met with your choice of Virgin TV and DVD player, high speed WiFi, and Bose iPod dock. Joining us for a cozy winter retreat? No problem, there is gas central heating throughout, and living flame gas fire with black slate fireplace.

The fully fitted kitchen is on hand should you wish to rustle up some homemade delights, no doubt made using local delicacies purchased from nearby independent traders in Dean Village and the New Town. As well as all of the standard mod cons expected in this generous galley kitchen, guests are treated to a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a large, French oak dining table in the lounge to help you entertain up to eight guests.

The master double bedroom features a sumptuous king size, American oak bed and expansive fitted wardrobes, and is decorated in calming neutral tones. There is a further double bedroom down the hall, and a newly upgraded shower room with walk in shower.

This property is perfectly situated for both city centre exploration, and easy access to the rest of Edinburgh, Scotland and beyond. The main tourist attractions are within walking distance, and frequent public transport routes to other areas of the city pass through Haymarket Terrace at the end of the street, including Edinburgh’s famous new Tram and the Airlink airport bus. Haymarket railway station is also a short walk away, and Waverley station is a 5 minute taxi journey away. Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Stadium and Murrayfield Ice Rink are a short drive or bus journey away.

Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 21:00 will incur a late fee of £30 for unsociable hours. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

What a grand apartment! It is a really special place and so representative of Edinburgh,s grand Georgian history. You can sit in the bay window, observe the cobbled street and reminisce in the splendid living room. The bedrooms at the rear are quiet and prefect for our family visit. The area sits in the West End/Haymarket with lots of shops, restaurants and bars we could easily walk to the city centre. Murrayfield, where we watched the rugby, is an easy walk. Prefect for getting the tram to the Airport or down to Leith. There appears to be a new modern shower room, the shower is powerful and hot. Kitchen is well stocked and clean. I would strongly recommend to anyone.

Could not fault the service and contact from the staff. I contacted Christine a few days before our stay to enquire about leaving our luggage somewhere as we were arriving earlier than the 4pm check in, she informed us the apartment would be ready from 1pm which was perfect timing. She text a key code which gave us access to the apartment and asked us to contact her if there was anything else she could help with. On the Sunday I had another text to say hope you have had a great stay and there was no rush to leave the apartment as housekeeping wouldn't be there until later in the afternoon. I would definitively recommend the apartment to others.
