Great location for us, about 20 minutes walk into town or to Holyrood Park. Aprtment was very well finished and clean with everything we needed, including baby accessories. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

The owner kindly accommodated our request for an early check-in and met us at the apartment with a warm welcome. It had everything we needed. We were out and about in Edinburgh most of the time, but appreciated having more space to relax in than we would have had in a hotel. The walk into Princes Street didn't take long but there were plenty of taxis and buses available nearby had we needed them. Shops in the neighbourhood were handy for supplies, but we favoured the local organic store "Earthy" for delicious coffee, breakfasts and cakes. Despite being on a main road the apartment was quiet so we had no problems sleeping soundly. All in all, a great weekend and we would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Edinburgh.

We visited Edinburgh for a late birthday present to my mum and for my 2 year old to visit the zoo. We found everything about our stay in this apartment brilliant. We were greeted on our arrival by the very pleasant owner (who even got a cuddle from my son) and we found it to be immaculate, comfortable and suitable to all our needs. So much more personal than a hotel. We will recommend this to friends and family and we will definately be staying again.

I stayed here in December 2006, for the Hogmanay festivities and this is a great place to stay if you want to be walking distance to the action but still far enough out to escape the noise!
There are plenty of nice pubs and bars (The Old Bell, Borough Hotel) nearby and the Meadows is not far.
The real advantage of this place is that it is fitted immaculately and presented with genuine care and attention to detail, you feel like you are getting a treat by staying here even if the surrounding apartment block is nothing to write home about.
The apartment is on the ground floor but getting a wheel chair in would be difficult as there are a few steps to negotiate.

I cannot praise this apartment (and the owner) enough. I had a great time with my family whilst staying here (and thoroughly enjoyed Edinburgh too!).
This high-quality apartment really set the tone for our stay and we will definately be returning next year for more!
Thank you, Andy
