Why do I need to pay a security deposit?
We ask for security deposits for a number of reasons:
- By paying a security deposit, we find that guests take greater care of the property and it's contents during their stay
- The requirement of a security deposit discourages guests who intend on causing damage from booking with us
- The risk of damage is reduced, and any repairs or replacements can be made quickly, which reduces the impact on future guests (i.e. when you arrive at the property there is less likely to be any damage caused by the previous guests).
