Suggested inventory
This list is made up of all items we suggest should be included in any holiday let apartment. Please contact us if you have any questions, or if you would like help with purchasing any of these items.
General
Soft furnishings: All rooms should be fitted with suitable light fitting/shade and curtains/blinds. We haven't included items such as clocks, pictures, etc. as these fall under general soft furnishings. We would advise you to avoid live plants, especially those that require regular attention.
Keys: Minimum of 3 full sets, including electronic fobs and car park remote(s) where applicable.
Welcome packs: This should include a welcoming message for your guests, along with information about local services, takeaways, restaurants, etc. and guides to appliances and other aspects of your property. We provide these as part of the service for all Reserve+ clients.
Quantity: The quantity (plates, cutlery, etc.) and size (sofa, dining table, etc.) of some items should be suitable for the maximum party size that your property can accommodate.
Living room
Essentials: Sofa/chairs, table/reading lamp, cushions, coffee table, dining table and chairs, rug, large mirror, picture(s), vase, TV (digital or with FreeView box).
You may also like to add: a CD player/DAB radio, iPod docking station, and DVD player.
Kitchen
Essentials: Oven and hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster, large waste bin, washing up bowl, cleaning products (including washing up liquid), chopping board, set of non-stick saucepans, non-stick frying pan, colander, sieve, cutlery, cutlery tray, potato masher, potato peeler, draining spoon, ladle, whisk, can/tin opener, wooden spoons, knife block with sharp knives, corkscrew/bottle opener, kitchen scissors, salt and pepper pots, dinner plates, bowls, mugs, tumblers, wine glasses, kitchen towel, oven gloves, basic first aid kit, fire blanket.
You may also like to add: a microwave, dish drainer, dishwasher tablets, wok, measuring jug, large and small mixing bowls, ceramic baking dish, casserole dish, roasting tin, baking tray, garlic press, fire extinguisher.
Bedroom
Essentials: Double bed/attachable twins, mattress protector(s), valance sheet(s), duvet (season variety), four pillows, wardrobe (if none fitted), clothes hangers, chest of drawers, two bedside tables, two bedside lamps, full-length mirror.
You may also like to add: a chair, waste basket, hairdryer, and TV.
Bathroom
Essentials: Mirror, toilet brush/holder, waste basket/small pedal bin.
You may also like to add: a towel rail/ring, and toilet roll holder.
Storage cupboard
Essentials: Vacuum cleaner (with spare bags if applicable), broom, dustpan and brush, mop, ironing and ironing board.
Note for Reserve clients
Clients signed up with our Reserve full marketing and management service will be provided with all bed linen and towels. We also provide a branded welcome pack for guests.
