Looking for Kids Go Karting & Laser Tag in Edinburgh for the holidays?

Those parents among us will be well and truly aware that the kids are almost finished school for another year and half term is getting ever closer. So if you're wondering what to do to keep the kids busy during the 2019 summer holidays then fear no more. Edinburgh has more than enough to keep the family entertained.

Here are a handful of tips from us. Good luck!

  1. Hit the Road

If you prefer motorsports to snowsports, why not take a spin around the track go karting at Xtreme Karting, which is Edinburgh's only 5 star rated go karting experience. As well as go karting, visitors also have the option of taking part in laser tag, which now include Fortnite style missions (which is completely painless).

  3. Feeling Brave?

If you are, then The Edinburgh Dungeon on Market Street is well worth a visit. Travel back in time for a ‘thrill-filled’ journey and meet some of Scotland’s most famous, and infamous, characters. This half term you'll come face to face with Scotland's most fearsome warrior! Will you survive?

  4. Looking for a Spot of Adventure?

Edinburgh has a wide range of exciting activities on offer from climbing and skiing to paintballing and go karting. Set in the Pentland Hills, the Snowsports Centre is home to the UK’s biggest artificial ski slope. Instructors can coach you with a wide range of lessons from beginners to advanced classes. Buy a ‘practice ticket’ this half term and give it a go. Practice makes perfect!

  5. National Museum Summer Holiday Programme

The National Museum of Scotland is one of the UK’s Top 10 visitor attractions, and in the Top 20 of the most visited museums and galleries in the world! As part of their Summer Holiday Programme the museum has a number of themed weekly activities for all the family to enjoy which include 'trips' to ancient Egypt, Asia and even the moon!.

  6. Farm Yard Fun

After using up all that energy wind down with a trip to Gorgie Farm and enjoy a walk round a ‘much loved’ part of the community. Visit the animals and enjoy learning about how to look after them whilst having a go at feeding them! Learn about gardening and wildlife all at the same time! A perfect family-friendly day out!
