The architect-designed mews house in Edinburgh's New Town is beautifully appointed with lots of style. It is sandwiched between the picturesque area of Stockbridge and lively Broughton Street in a quiet cobbled lane just 10 minutes' walk from Princes Street and the Old Town beyond. The house can accommodate 9 guests over three floors.

Sleeping arrangements Master suite with king size double bed. Second bedroom with either a super-king double or two single beds. Third bedroom with one double bunk bed, a single (top) bunk bed and a single futon, sleeping 3 or 4. Two single sofa beds in living room.
Exterior We have a small, secluded deck with table and chairs and a barbecue grill.
Parking notes The mews garage (approx. 2m wide by 4.5m long by 1.75m high) is suitable for one small car. There is metered parking in surrounding streets and free parking in the lane from 5.30 pm evenings and weekends.
It may also be possible to book a secure underground parking space at the other end of Cumberland Street at additional cost (subject to availability). There is a height restriction of 2.04m in the underground car park so cars with roof boxes may not be able to enter. Parking in the underground car park is subject to availability and at the vehicle owner's own risk.

Interior layout The accommodation is arranged over three floors. The master bedroom is on the ground floor, with a bath and shower on a mezzanine level within the room. The separate toilet can be accessed from the bedroom and from the hall.
The second double or twin bedroom is on the lower ground floor. Next door the third bedroom has a single bunk bed at high level, a double bunk bed underneath and a single futon. There is also a family shower room with a toilet.
Up one flight of stairs is a wonderful light and airy open plan kitchen, fully equipped with all mod cons and we can even full your fridge for your arrival so you have everything you need for your first night. The living room features two sofas which can convert into generous single sofa beds and a large dining table.

Local area Edinburgh’s historic New Town is home to sweeping cobbled streets, beautiful Georgian architecture and famous spots like the picturesque Princes Street Gardens. Built in the mid 18th Century, the New Town was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 and the neat and ordered grid of streets and open green squares provides an elegant contrast to the labyrinth of the neighbouring Old Town.
The architectural grandeur is also home to a fantastic selection of Edinburgh’s retailers, independent cafes, pubs and restaurants. Whether you’re spending your stay exploring the history of the city, visiting some of the best restaurants or enjoying the view of the castle whilst shopping up a storm on Princes Street – this is an excellent base to experience the best the city has to offer.
Local residents love the peace and quiet of their street. If you are a noisy bunch then maybe this is not the place for you.
