Gorgeous two bedroom apartment with spacious rooms and everything you would need for a fantastic holiday. This apartment comes with a free allocated parking space and tranquil surroundings making it ideal for a family base to explore the city and all within 4 miles of Edinburgh Castle and the City Centre. The apartment is also close to a busy bus route which will have you in the centre within 10 -20 minutes. The location of Colinton boasts a variety of pubs and fine dining. There is also a large Tesco within a 5 minute walk.

Gallolee is ideally located just outside the city centre and is only a few minutes’ drive from the Edinburgh bypass. This means that you can sit and relax and enjoy the great views over the city and the free parking that is included with the apartment whilst only being a ten minute drive from the city centre. Why drive though when you can jump on the numerous buses which pass within a few minutes’ walk of the apartment.

If you are lucky enough to have nice weather during your stay why not sit outside on the various benches and plan your stay. Alternative there are various woodland walks. Regional Park starts at the exit of the cul-de-sac, where there are plenty of cycle, walking and bird watching routes.

After entering the spotlessly clean apartment block, it is only a few steps to the first floor where the apartment is located. This makes it ideal for families. This is a newly renovated apartment and has been fully equipped to ensure you have a wonderful stay including a welcome pack complete with toiletries and delicious shortbread – handmade in Edinburgh.

The kitchen has an oven, microwave and washing machine/dryer. Tea, coffee and sugar are included as well as everything else that we could think of to ensure that you start to relax as soon as you arrive.

The large sitting room has luxurious seating for all guests and comes equipped with a large flat screen TV as well as iPod docking facilities for music. There is also a dining area for eating in.

The master bedroom contains a double bed and superb storage facilities for your luggage. The second bedroom also contains a double bed. Both bedrooms have TV's with Freeview and DVD players.

There is a family bathroom with both bath and shower facilities.

For young families, a child's cot and high chair are available for a small charge.

For transport in the city, the apartment is on three bus routes taking you efficiently all over town in one of the most reliable and professional service in the world! It also boast a 10 minute journey time to the city centre for £1.40.

Check in is from 1pm-3pm and from 6pm-8pm. Check in between 8pm and 11pm incurs an additional £20. Check out is by 11am. This property offers a "meet and greet" service whereby you will be met at the property to provide keys and be shown the layout etc. Early arrival and late check-out can be arranged. Additional cost will be determined by circumstance.

A 25% deposit is payable on booking and a further refundable security deposit of £100 is due prior to your arrival.

Service:

A little hurried in the walk-through the day we arrived. I realize that we had asked to be able to move in early and then weren't able to get in contact with our host but when we did arrive he was in a great hurry.

Product:

Nice amount of room for the four of us. The amenities were good and we felt we had the space to be comfortable when we were there.

Service:

The booking, payment and meet and greet process was straight forward, efficient and reliable. The deposit was credited to me within 24 hours of vacating the apartment.

Product:

This apartment is in a nice quient residential area on the western side of edinburgh with easy access to the By-Pass and M8 motorway. The apartment itself is clean and tidy and functional. It is good value for money (compared with hotels), but could do with freshening up and the electric shower being replaced (it does not work unless you like a freezing cold shower or are willing to incur third degree burns!! The bed and linen were clean and comfortable. The lounge is a good size with modern TV and good WiFi access. All in all this is a good apartment, which with a bit of freshening up could achieve an excellent rating.
