This apartment is beautifully furnished and set right in the heart of the historic Old Town in one of Old Town’s most famous medieval closes just off the Royal Mile. Entrance to the top floor apartment is through a private stairway, which gives both added security and a sense of privacy from the hustle and bustle of the city, but fully double glazed for peace and quiet yet 50 meters from Waverley Station.
Just a 5minutes walk to the Castle and for festival goers, the Pleasance & Underbelly venues. 10minutes in the other direction takes you onto Princes Street. On your door step are many restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops and galleries. A guide of personal recommendations is provided for you in the flat. The classically appointed apartment is situated two floors above the smallest pub in Edinburgh, a free house, called the Halfway House. (See the CAMRA guide).
Although the apartment is situated within yards of the main line station and airport drop-off, the flat is top (3rd) floor and not suitable for disabled access.
This is an extremely spacious room that provides a wonderful place for you to relax with a panoramic view over the Balmoral through four feature windows. The room consists of two sofa's - one of which folds out in to a double bed to accommodate larger groups, an elegant dining table and six chairs and some smaller items of furniture. A large Victorian fireplace dominates the room. A flat screen TV and a selection of dvd's are provided for your enjoyment.
This fully equipped kitchen comes with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, electric oven and hob and microwave. There is a good selection of cutlery and crockery for up to 4 persons and cooking pots / pans, kettle & toaster. There is a small counter bar and stools.
Is a double bedroom with an on-suite shower room / toilet / basin and is situated at the rear of the property for a quieter nights sleep.
This large twin room has two single beds. The size is not as large as the double, but comfortable and next door to the main bathroom.
The bathroom contains a bath/shower combination, toilet, hand basin and heated towel-rail.
Check is from 2pm and check out is by 12.30pm. A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property be given the keys and be shown the layout etc.

* Linen and towels are provided and changed weekly for rentals of 1 week or more.
* Complimentary tea, coffee and milk are provided on your arrival.
* Ironing facilities and a hair dryer are provided.
* The airport bus drop off point and main railway station are 5 minutes walk.
* No smoking is not allowed within the apartment.
* A 25% deposit is payable on booking and the outstanding balance must be paid 2months prior to arrival.
Parking Street parking is available but is expensive, longer term parking is close by.
