A sumptuous sofa and snuggle seat welcome you to put your feet up and relax, perhaps whilst watching a film from the generous DVD collection or something from the Sky TV package. Feeling peckish? Move through to the adjoining kitchen and everything you could possibly need is ready and waiting to help you rustle up your own culinary treats. You can enjoy your efforts at the large dining table, before moving out to the balcony to enjoy a nice glass of something chilled. A dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier are also on hand to help keep chores at bay.

Two double bedrooms with king-size beds and plentiful storage ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, one with en suite shower room. A family bathroom with shower over bath completes this charming home from home. Those visiting with little ones can travel light, as the property benefits from a cot, high chair and baby bath. Other thoughtful touches have been added throughout the property, including a beauty station with high-end hair products.

In terms of location, The Anchor Residence forms part of a luxury development overlooking the Firth of Forth. Guests can enjoy the best of both worlds, with all the peace and tranquillity of waterside living whilst being just less than three miles from the very city centre.

Just ten minutes along the road and you’ll find yourself in one of Edinburgh’s most loved areas, The Shore, playing host to chic bistros, cocktail bars, and even Michelin starred restaurants, as well as art galleries and independent shops. Fancy something a little more commercial? Just a few minutes along the waterfront will take you to rainy-day paradise Ocean Terminal, full to the brim with high street and department stores, a cinema, gym, and popular eateries including Wagamama and Pizza Express. Permanently moored alongside Ocean Terminal is the Royal Yacht Britannia, voted the UK’s number one tourist attraction on TripAdvisor in 2014.

When it’s time for something more Medieval, the Old Town and all of its world famous attractions are just a ten-minute drive away. No car? No problem - getting in to town is easy, as there is a Lothian Buses stop in the development with services running to the city centre several times an hour.

This property benefits from a key safe, so you can check yourself in after 4pm. A meet and greet service can also be provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.

Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that meet and greets after 21:00 will incur a late fee of £30 for unsociable hours. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.

All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.

Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
