Candelabra-style lighting adds a layer of old-fashioned glamour, and we invite you not to make dinner reservations - instead eat a candlelit meal at the grand dining table (with room for 5 famished guests) and enjoy your own personal slice of heaven. Should you wish to take us up on our suggestion of an intimate meal indoors, this property’s kitchen is a budding chef’s dream. Decorated in the same careful style, this large room provides ample space for slicing, basting and sauteing. Featuring all the mod-cons one would expect in such a pedigree property (including coffee machine and dishwasher), this kitchen even features a charming loveseat bench, so the cook needn’t miss out on any pertinent plans as you mull over your next Edinburgh escapade.

When the night draws in, sink into one of the Cornwall Street Residence’s sublime king-sized beds, which promise only glorious dreams and delightful naps. Choose between two grand bedchambers, rich with stunning period furniture and charming decorative highlights. Relax in a cosy window-seat and finish that book you’ve always meant to read, or simply lie back against butter-soft sheets and plan your return visit - the choice is yours. Complimentary slippers and bathrobes (for longer stays) are treats you definitely deserve after a long day of discoveries. If you’d like to accommodate a fifth guest, single fold-out bed can be provided. A stylish family bathroom completes this fantastic property, defined by a uniquely stylish bathroom suite, including a chic vessel sink and cavernous bath. Of course, bathing at the Cornwall Street is no ordinary affair. Towels provided are sumptuous Egyptian cotton and toiletries are provided just for you by Scottish Fine Soaps.

The local area is Edinburgh’s unique Old Town which is where the heart of the city truly beats. Within walking distance to Princes Street and a stone's throw from Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town is home to some of Scotland's premier attractions, including the Scott Monument and the Royal Mile. The Cornwall Street Residence sits just at the foot of the Castle Rock, so you can watch the sun set over the turrets. As we’ve already mentioned, the Usher Hall is tantalizingly close to this property - as is the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, so you can squeeze in a little bit of culture with your business. If you fancy venturing further afield, both tram and buses service this area frequently, and Haymarket Station is within walking distance.

A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager.

Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 - 19:00. Later arrivals are possible, however must be confirmed in advance and are subject to a late arrival fee. The actual fee payable will be determined by the agreed arrival time.

Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.
