The Alva Street Residence is a charming apartment, located in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End. Sitting pretty just a haggis’ throw from Princes Street, the Old and New Towns, and The Royal Mile, this pied-à-terre is perfect for recuperating after a long day’s exploration.
Four guests are accommodated in traditional surroundings, as this apartment forms part of a Georgian townhouse (circa 1823) that has been lovingly restored by its new owners. Great care has been made to preserve original features wherever possible, combining these with a number of sympathetic modernisations. The result is a unique blend of the traditional and contemporary, including a new fitted kitchen, new bathroom and shower room, complete laundry facilities, and full gas central heating system. Broadband wireless internet connection is provided.
The two double bedrooms feature one king size, and one double bed, both with plentiful storage and large windows. The living room has leather sofas, flatscreen TV (with DVD player), and broadband WiFi, perfect for a quiet night in if you fancy. There is a family bathroom with large bath with shower over, plus a further extra large shower room, and a WC and utility room. The modern kitchen is brand new, and features everything you need to rustle up your own culinary delights. Why not head to the nearby Castle Terrace or Stockbridge farmers' markets and pick up some local delicacies to add in to your own cooking?
