Was met at the property and shown around the flat. Withholding 'excellent' rating until the damage deposit is refunded which should only be in a few days. Assuming the deposit is credited per the terms and conditions, the service was very good.

Product:

Really lovely flat in a perfect location for the Old Town, Castle, Royal Mile, Waverly Station, etc. The flat was very clean and we were given all the instructions/details for the appliances, wifi and so forth. Most of the furnishings were very nice -- the dining/gate leg table needs to be repaired because the leg/brace was broken so it could not be used. The flat is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor American) so not good for anyone with mobility issues. But for anyone else -- very highly recommended.

I spent two nights on the floor, I expected an apology and a refund from the company but have received nothing

The apartment was dingy and small, the equipment was sparse and in poor condition, the TV was on an apple account and therefore unwatchable, there was no radio either. There was a refrigeration/air conditioning unit outside the window which hummed incessantly, There was little natural light, several light bulbs were out including the porch. The entrance stank of urine and was full of litter.

Firstly I'd like to point out your first two nights was in a different apartment which is advertised as a one bedroom apartment sleeping 2+2 (the two additional guests being accommodated on a sofa bed) which you found uncomfortable so the owner bought a brand new blow up bed for your second night which you also found uncomfortable.

We apologised for this and located another apartment which the owner was happy to transfer the difference in payment to your new booking to avoid you paying again.

We understand that everyones idea of 'comfortable' varies and we tried our best to accommodate you.

Beautiful, compact and cosy apartment. will definetly return to this apartment and recommend it to others.

No sure why this apartment required a "security deposit", when the other apartment we used earlier in the week did not. Also, still have not received this back.

The rather ridged adherence to the late-arrival fee, when the bus dropped us off at 7:05 was ... not great customer service, but I guess if you have to, you have to.

Apartment was lovely, although the noise level from the street was a little more than we had bargained for.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you were disappointed by the booking terms. We do not manage this property, and therefore the security deposit and late arrival fee are at the discretion of the property owner, and not Reserve Apartments.

Super location, friendly greeting and efficient greeting. comfortable bed, good towels and bed linen.

However - Dark decor and dim lights meant it was a little depressing. and dark. felt a little tired - ie cushions smelled on sofa, grout needed redoing etc ..Just felt a little dowdy and needed freshening up. No spare loo rolls so we had to buy some. No shelf in bathroom so little glass plinth got wet and gunky v quicky with toothbrushes etc.

The service I received was excellent. From the reservation procedure to check in the whole process ran smoothly and was able to overcome the glitches that occasionally occur in international travel (delayed flights etc).

Location and presentation of the apartment were without fault. Easy walking distance to major attractions, tourist buses at front door.

The apartment is great. Bright living area and cosy bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. Location is awesome. Although on The High Street, it's quiet through the night as most pubs/bars are further down the street. We had a lovely weekend here and would recommend it.
