The online booking system was quick & easy & we were sent reminder emails to pay all payments & kept up to date with what to do when getting to The Cruickshank Residence in Edinburgh.

On check in day we received a phone call to say the apartment was ready 1 1/2 hours early & was greeted by a lovely lady to show us around & answer any questions we had. She recommended some places to eat out nearby if we wanted. The apartment was very clean but we found some of the cups had stain marks in & one of the blinds was broken in the living room which blocked a bit of our view & some light. These were only minor things though & didn't spoil our stay. We was staying in this property to visit Edinburgh Zoo a few minutes walk away & it was perfect for 4 adults to stay in with 2 double bedrooms ( one with ensuite ) & 1 single.

This is a lovely bright apartment in a pleasant area of Edinburgh, which I would happily use again. There are shops within walking distance. I was driving so I cannot comment on the public transport. A parking space is provided. The kitchen is adequately equipped but a few sharper knives would have been handy. The sitting room only has overhead lighting which is not very nice. A few table top lamps would make it so much more relaxing in the evening.
One slight bother was the fact there are no hooks on the bathroom or bedroom doors. No place to hang you dressing gown, towels etc. The en-suite shower needs a soap dish/rack to hold shampoo and soaps. Having nowhere to put those is very annoying.
Otherwise I would highly recommend this apartment, and have done so already.

Great apartment. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped.Good location to explore Edinburgh and surrounds. Plenty of buses every few minutes to take you into the centre. Parking space is a big plus.

Not easy trying to find good accommodation for 5 people with car parking on site at a reasonable price. This apartment ticked all the boxes and knowing that Stephanie & Bryan were just a phone call away if needed was reassuring. Will definitely stay again next time we’re in Edinburgh.

Lovely apartment but more for young professionals without children. Next time I would look for a house that meets our needs. One of the neighbours complained, asking to keep the noise down as a picture fell off the wall. It’s very difficult keeping three young children quiet when there is flooring on the living room area.

It is however the fabric of new build properties, especially with oak and laminate floors, that noise can be a problem to other residents but we trust that it did not spoil your stay and that you enjoyed your time in Edinburgh. On your next visit to Edinburgh please be sure to get in touch with Reserve and we'll look at the availability of other types of properties.

Lovely apartment, very close to bus routes, easy access into city centre & zoo. Great apartment, has everything you need for a great stay. Host was very nice and helpful with all the local knowledge, and recommending a few eating places. We had a great stay and would be happy to return and also to recommend to family and friends.

Stephanie is the definition of hospitality! From the welcoming email, to the offer to make dinner reservations during the height of the Fringe, and laying in an initial supply of groceries; she was very welcoming and focused on our having a good stay

Reserve Apartments was very responsive to all of my questions. I would recommend their service for anyone looking for an apartment to rent in Edinburgh.

My family of four loved this apartment. It was exactly as advertised and the apartment is the perfect size for families. The owners and property manager were very responsive to our questions and requests. We didn't use public transportation so it was an added bonus to have a reserved parking spot. We will definitely be returning to The Cruickshank Residence for our next trip to Edinburgh.

A very new, clean, tidy apartment with a modern hi-tech and well-appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds and the perfect location for the Zoo as well as hopping on any passing bus for the short ride into town.
Communication beforehand was quick and easy, all arrangements went perfectly.

The apartment was superb and we could not have asked for more. Lovely touches with milk, coffee and tea provided for our arrival. The location was first rate with a bus stop just down the road making it very easy to get into Edinburgh whilst keeping your car in the designated parking place. Would highly recommend this to anybody.
