We had this apartment for three nights to attend the Fringe. Excellent central location and the apartment was well equipped Really good value for money - last year we stayed at an apartment in Old Fishmarket Close that was almost twice the price (it did have two bedrooms). The apartment gave us everything we wanted and we would definately stay again.

Excellent apartment in a perfect location. The noise didn't bother us at night as we always bring earplugs. We also loved the extra touches, milk, tea bags, etc. We didn't think that the water for the shower took long too heat up as said by a previous guest, just 20 mins or so.We hope to stay there again next time. All in all well worth the money, and well recommended to all.

The location of the apartment is idea, less than a 5 minute walk from train station, the drop off point for the airport bus. It's well maintained and homely with lots of personal touches and is very good value for money considering it's central location. We agree with the previous review in that it would have been nice to open the windows but that was just a minor irritation. We didn't have a problem with the noise as we came prepared with earplugs as we thought it would be noisey as the apartment is so centrally located. Location of the shower is not idea but served a purpose and worked well. Overall very good value for money and would definately recommend to family and friends.

Really enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh over the Jubilee week . Location of apatment is excellent and it is fairly comfortable .with everything we needed. A couple of areas for improvement need to be able to open the windows in the lounge /kitchen . I June it can get warm and fresh air would help . Also curtains in bedroom need to be thicker/lined to reduce the light and reduce the noise that comes fro the late night revellers and early morning dustbin lorries .
but great location and beautiful city .

I will intend to have a glaziers quote soon to be able to solve the window troubles- and I will go shopping for new curtains! Thank-you for your comments! Hopefully future guests will find the new sofa bed in the livingroom comfortable. Rachel

This apartment is ideally located on the Royal Mile opposite a very handy taxi waiting lane :)
The apartment itself was clean and had a lovely homely feel to it with small items left for the tenants like milk etc...
The downside to this location is the noise from the street, even if you live in a small town and are used to street noise the volume seems trebled (probably caused by the cobbles) here. Double glazing or earplugs would definitely be a bonus.
The shower is located in a separate room to the WC and hand basin, this is instead located in the hallway, if you are anyway shy
or self concious in your naked self this apartment may not be for you.
We found it took a long time for the water to heat up for a shower so it would be helpful to indicate this in the apartment manual or perhaps install an electric shower instead.
A good powerful refreshing shower though :)
We found the gas stove/fire valve EXTREMELY hard to open and close, this could do with some lubricating or the installation of a lever valve instead.
For smokers it may be an idea to install on the balcony a cigarette flower bed tray facility to keep the area clean and tidy.
All in all, we would stay here again and found the landlord very helpful and accommodating.

Brilliant apartment in a brilliant location. Perfect for the festival. Three of us stayed for four nights and we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, useful information and the kitchen was well equipped. We will definitely be back next year.

Myself and a friend stayed in the Royal Mile Apartment for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The flat itself was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Plus, Chris and Rachel who we booked the apartment through were delightful to deal with and went out of their way to help us with any queries.
I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment again - it is in a central location, without being too noisy and was great value.
Would recommend to others for sure.

Lovely flat, great central location, and very considerate landlords. May be a bit noisy late on a summer weekend night, bu that is the price of the location. Definitely recommend.

Great location. Perfect for 2 or 3 ppl. Very compact and comfortable. Thoughtful touches abound: umbrellas to use, great books to read, lots of local maps and brochures, a rucksack to use for walks or hiking, sleep masks in the bedside table, excellent resto suggestions, etc. It's noisy at times, but that's the price of having a great location.

Everything was great!! Easy to access to everywhere. However, it would be nice if a big TV and WIFI were installed.

We found this apartment great for location and facilities. We liked the homely touches of books and games etc. Our only gripe would be the noise in the street - from people and also the noise of the cars on the cobbles. You can't beat the location though.

I really enjoyed my stay and as i booked this at the last mintue it was good for value!! To find this appartment is easy, with only a few flight of stairs to climb!!
The apartment its self is lovely but it was a pitty about the work men across the road at that time as they start early :-( and i don't when i'm on my holidays!! but i enjoyed the stay!!!
