Situated in the leafy West End of Glasgow at Kelvinbridge; set within a traditional Victorian terrace, the building was fully rebuilt behind the façade about 20 years ago. Glasgow's cosmopolitan West End has a compact, 'village feel' and is home to a multitude of trendy shops, bars and restaurants. The West End Kelvinbridge Apartment is located only about 5 minutes walk away from Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Park - one of the large parks for which the City is renowned.
Nearby (10 minutes walk) will take you to Byres Road and its mews lanes with bars, restaurants, quirky boutiques and great nightlife. If you want to venture into the Glasgow City Centre, it is only about 10 minutes walk to Charing Cross or a brisk 20minutes walk into the Centre. Alternatively, the City Centre is a 5minute subway journey from Kelvinbridge Subway station (1minute away).
The apartment is on the lower ground floor; accessed by staircase. The living/dining room has leather sofas and digital TV, DVD/CD player and wireless internet access are provided for guests use. The living room gives access (via steps and a hinged window) to the front garden, which has a table and chairs – the apartment has exclusive use of this garden. There is also a beautiful rear garden shared with other residents.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including gas oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. A set of linen and towels are provided along with a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits.
The apartment will comfortably accommodate 4 people in a double master bedroom and a twin bedroom. The apartment has one bathroom, which has a whirlpool bath with power shower above the bath.
A 25% deposit is payable when booking and the outstanding balance must be paid not less than 3 weeks prior to the date of arrival. If a Booking is made less than 3 weeks prior to the date of arrival, then the outstanding balance amount is required to be paid following receipt by the Guest of the Booking Confirmation.
On arrival at the Apartment the Guest will be required to show photo ID and provide details of a valid debit/credit card to be held together with proof of address to which the card is registered for security. The Apartment shall be available from 2pm on the day or arrival and as the Apartment will be un-manned guests MUST advise us of an approximate arrival time at the Apartment and means of travel (car, bus, plane or train). We will provide the Guest with a mobile telephone number to call approx. 1 hour prior to their arrival at the Apartment. Other than by prior arrangement, Guests must vacate the Apartment by 10am on the day of departure. At the time of arrival, a representative will agree departure arrangements.
