A beautiful and spacious one bedroom apartment with private garden patio in the heart of Glasgow's West End.

This apartment is located just a few minutes walk from Glasgow University and the famous Byres Road. Although a one bedroom flat, it is incredibly spacious (659sq ft) with large hallway, two storage cupboards, main bathroom plus en-suite bathroom and a large living space which also has a private outdoor patio area.

The subway station is found less than 300m away in order to connect quickly with the City Centre, as well as many buses which pass Great Western Road, although you can walk to the City Centre on various routes but undoubtedly the most scenic is via Kelvingrove Park.

The living room has two large couches, one which converts to a sofa-bed for two persons. There is a breakfast bar off the kitchen with four stools, TV, Free view, Wireless internet access and excellent stereo system.

The building has security entry and the crescent is a quiet street and great base for business or leisure travellers.

A 25% deposit is payable on booking and the outstanding balance is due no later than 14 days before your arrival. Keys may be collected from our City Centre office at 59 James Watt Street, G2 8NF or we can offer a "meet and greet" service, whereby a member of the team will meet you at the apartment to provide keys and show you the layout/specific details of the flat. We require identification and a security deposit of £100 which is fully refundable when you sign for the keys. Check-in time is between 3pm and 8pm, but we will always try to allow access earlier if requested subject to availability (Later check-in can be organised by prior arrangement and will be subject to an additional fee). Check-out is by 11am.

Glasgow’s West End refers to the bohemian district of cafés, tea rooms, bars, boutiques, upmarket hotels, clubs and restaurants in the hinterland of Kelvingrove Park, the University of Glasgow, Glasgow Botanic Gardens and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, especially on the area’s main thoroughfare, Byres Road, and on Ashton Lane. The area is popular with tourists, and contains many hotels.

The West End is bisected by the River Kelvin. The spire of Sir George Gilbert Scott’s Glasgow University main building (the second largest Gothic Revival building in Britain) is a major local landmark, and can be seen from miles around, sitting atop Gilmorehill. The university itself is the fourth oldest in the English-speaking world. Much of the city’s student population is based in the West End, adding to its cultural vibrancy.

The area is also home to the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery, Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena, Henry Wood Hall (home of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra) and the Museum of Transport. The West End Festival, one of Glasgow’s largest festivals, is held annually in June.
