Lovely apartment, clean and tastefully decorated. Excellent location just 5 minute walk to Glasgow city centre with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Rosemary the guest host was a delight and very helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend this apartment to friends and family.
Just one small hiccup - there were no tea towels provided in the apartment. Not a major problem we just popped to one of the nearby shops and bought some, but maybe a couple could be popped in the kitchen drawer.
Thanks again, had a fab time.
Highly recommend. Good value for money. Has looked in to all the common aspect of a stay. Well done. Highly recommended
What a wonderful apartment for my Mom and Dad and I. It was perfect for a family visit. The view of the Clyde and Gorbals was perfect with the small balcony. Rosemary met us at the apartment and made herself available for anything at all. We had a wonderful time at the beautiful renovated apartment which was spacious from my travel experiences in UK and Europe. Only downside was lack of wireless. Couldn't get it to work but plenty of access in St. Enoch Square coffee shop.
Friendly folks who handle the apartment. In general, a high level of equipment and cleanliness. Wonderful view of the River Clyde. Small balcony a plus, with two chairs and a small round table.
However, the toilet in the second bathroom (the one without a shower, only tub), didn't flush properly and it was never repaired the three nights we were there. Not acceptable.
Also, surprised neither bathroom had ANY towel bars or hooks. No where to hang anything.
Second bedroom with two single beds very small. Barely could get by the end of the beds especially since I had to use adapters in the wall receptacle for our USA iPod player and recharger which required pulling one bed out for clearance.
Kitchen well equipped in general. Even had a spice rack with spices! I'm a 40-plus year cook, so appreciated that. But only one large skillet, need a smaller one too. Plenty of pots, including large pasta pot and colander. Even had a neatly designed polypropelyne cutting board I really appreciated since I carry my own razor sharp chef's knife with me.
Not big deal, but our confirmation email said our unit would be #130 when it was actually #120. I printed out and carried all my emails and return confirmations on our 17 day trip for reference.
Initially couldn't get on WiFi, but next day it worked. Have no idea why.
Only a three block walk to a Tesco Express, a great source for groceries, etc. We picked up our car the last day as we left the apartment, so can't comment on parking.
Old pub around the corner as well as an Italian restaurant. We didn't patronize either, but some folks could find that convenient.
fantastic apartment in a great location. Only drawback was the inability to access the advertised wifi and the apparent lack of care in getting the problem solved after numerous phone calls. I cannot stress how important it is for international travelers to have easy access to wifi without the inconvenience of having to track down Internet cafes or paying exorbitant fees when it is advertised as included for free!
