Sweeney Apartments
Came to Glasgow for a long weekend for the Celtic Connections festival. The apartment was everything we had hoped for and is right in the centre of Glasgow so we could walk to all the venues. Small, but smart, warm and clean and got a welcome pack of tea etc to start us off as we settled in. Rosemary who met us was really nice and couldnt do enough for us. Would highly recommend this place. Between the four of us it was good value too and having that space to relax that you dont get in a hotel was lovely. Thank you, will be back next year!
I stayed here with my sister & we both loved this apartment. It was clean & tidy as well as warm & welcoming, with everything we needed including towels, washing powder & liquid, iron & ironing board, basically all the comforts of home! It has a gorgeous view over the Clyde & is nice & quiet for a cosy night in. Rosemary was a great host, very friendly & helpful. The apartment is right beside the St Enoch centre so very handy for shopping, & a tesco metro is very close for food. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends & would happily stay here again.

We had excellent help & support from Rosemary.
As a previous reviewer, we should have been informed off the noisy works, and the scaffolding blocking our view of the Clyde.
That aside it was a very pleasant apartment to which we would like to return, and would only comment:
Towels obviously washed using conditioner so didn't dry us!
Bathroom tap grotty, but everything else spotless.
Instructions on using the entryphone would have helped, as we managed for a couple of days without it before bumping into someone who had stayed there before.

Unfortunately we have no control over these external works--however they are now complete.
A pleasant property which could be more comfortable with just a few "tweaks" ..
Blackout curtains in the main bedroom particularly.
Some of the radiators do not work efficiently .. The worst being the largest one in the lounge.
Provision of cooking dishes and roasting trays/tins.
Not a permanent problem but we could have been informed in advance of the extensive
Work (hence noisy early mornings) taking place.

Blackout curtains have now been added.
Heating problem was temporary, now fixed.
Cooking dishes now added.
External repairs were supposed to be finished 3 months ago but weather has prevented this.
