A nicely decorated second floor flat, forming part of a traditional tenement on Edinburgh's bustling Easter Road. The apartment is recently modernised and decorated to a high standard. It has many nice features like a beautifully proportioned bay window, intricate cornices, rich timber flooring throughout and a roll-top bath. The apartment sleeps 6 comfortably.
This apartment is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. All major city centre attractions are within easy reach, with Princes Street, the Royal Mile and the Playhouse Theatre only 5 minutes by bus or approximately 15 minutes by foot.
Well-behaved pets are very welcome to stay in the apartment with you. There are many possibilities for lovely walks and the beach is only 10 minutes by bus or car.
The apartment:
The apartment has a living room with comfortable seating area, dining area, 42” flat screen TV, radio alarm clock and an internet computer with broadband connection. Books, toys and various board games are provided for use by guests. The modern kitchen is fully-fitted with an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and various kitchen gadgets.
There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a comfortable double-sofa bed in the living room, providing sleeping accommodation for up to 6 people. All bedrooms are equipped with radio alarm clocks. Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included in the rental and changed on a weekly basis. A travel cot can be supplied by prior arrangement. The bathroom has a toilet, roll-top bath and power shower.
Pets:
A basket, bedding, bowls and a cat-litter tray are provided for your pets. The apartment has a large crate available and additional crates can be provided.
You will pay a 25% deposit on booking and the outstanding balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival, unless you are booking within 6 weeks, whereby your outstanding balance will be due once confirmation details are received. We offer a 'meet and greet' service, where we will meet you at the property to provide keys and show you the layout. Check in is from 4pm and check out is by 10am.
Shopping & Dining:
A supermarket is just on the doorstep and also nice, convenient small shops ranging from wine merchants, a pet-shop, fruit and veg shops and gift shops. For those who do not feel like cooking there are take-away shops and good quality restaurants very close by.
Other facilities Books, various board games and toys are provided for use by guests. Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included in the rental and changed on a weekly basis.

Parking Details There is free parking on the side streets to the East of Easter Road , e.g. Edina Place and Bothwell Street. The side streets on the opposite side are paid parking and permit holders only. You can park on Easter Road itself at certain times but due to busy traffic this is not advisable.
The transport links in and around Edinburgh are great so you won't need a car once you're here. There is a bus stop in our street (100 meters walk) from where you can take a bus into Princes Street (nr. 1) or halfway up the Royal Mile (nr. 35). From the top of the road (London Road) you can take the nr. 26, which takes you to Princes Street, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium, the Zoo and beyond. This is a 24 hour service and runs approximately every 5 to 10 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes at night.
We are very close to the city centre, with Princes Street and the Royal Mile within 15 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by bus. The Playhouse theatre is only 10 minutes away (by foot) as well as the Omni Centre with it's bars, restaurants and cinema.
Edinburgh has lots to offer. All major city centre attractions are within easy reach of our apartment.
