Waverly Station and Waverly Bridge, the main departure points for excursions and tours is also a 15 minute walk. Nearby Easter Road has a wide range of interesting local shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries. Edinburgh’s famous Playhouse Theatre and the numerous pubs, clubs and restaurants of the fashionable Broughton St is just a 10-15 minute walk. At the end of Carlyle Place a short flight of steps will take you on to London Rd, a busy bus route with buses departing every 5-10 minutes to the City Centre and a number of other locations.
