St Giles Street is B-listed (a building of importance to national heritage) in the Conservation area of the Royal Mile. This third floor apartment commands a prestigious position on the corner of St Giles Street and The Royal Mile. It provides astounding views of the adjacent St Giles Cathedral and up the Lawnmarket (top end of the Royal Mile) to Edinburgh Castle, 250metres away.

The apartment is only a few minutes walk from many other major Edinburgh attractions such as the Royal Scottish Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland. There is also a copious amount of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops in the immediate area. This apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and is a very comfortable base for your visit to Edinburgh and Scotland.

LOUNGE/DRAWING ROOM
This is a wonderful south facing corner room with four large windows providing marvellous views of the Royal Mile and the square outside St Giles Cathedral. The room consists of two sofas (one of which converts to a comfortable double bed), a dining table suitable for four people. A beautiful Victorian fireplace with a gas coal effect fire provides additional heat to the electric central heating and creates a wonderful ambience in the room. A widescreen TV with approximately 30 digital channels and a DVD home cinema system with a selection of DVD's and CD's are provided for your enjoyment. Guests who have a laptop can also enjoy a free broadband connection either through the supplied cable or by wifi.

BEDROOM
This is a lovely double bedroom with a window overlooking St Giles Street. A 5ft wide (150 cm) kingsize with two bedside tables, a large built in wardrobe and chest of drawers provide ample storage space for your possessions.

KITCHEN
The kitchen has a large light window overlooking St Giles Street and is equipped with cutlery & crockery for up to four people.

BATHROOM
A bath with mixer taps providing a shower attachment, wc and basin and a shaver point.

* The airport bus drop off point and main railway station are 5 minutes walk.
* This third floor flat will be unsuitable for some people with disabilities as there are only stairs (no lift is available).

A deposit of 25% is payable on booking and the outstanding balance of the rental price must be received 2 months prior to your arrival date. For bookings made less than six weeks before your arrival date the whole rental price falls payable at the time of booking. Please note that prior to arrival a refundable key/security deposit must be provided (100 pounds or 150 Euros or 150 US dollars ).

We offer a "meet and greet" service, whereby you will be met at a property at a pre-arranged time to give access. Full instructions of this are sent out in the formal confirmation. Entry is from 14:00 onwards but if nobody has booked to depart on your day of arrival it will probably be very suitable for us to give you entry as early as possible. Even if there is a booking departing that day it might still be possible to at least drop off luggage. Departure is by 10am (a guaranteed late departure up to 20:00 can be obtained for 50% of that daily rate. Please contact us if you want to utilise this facility and a price will be calculated).
