The Cadell Apartment together with the Fergusson, Hunter and Peploe (known as West End Apartments) form an elegant Victorian town house ideally situated within Edinburgh’s World Heritage Site less than a 10 minute walk from Princes Street.

ACCOMMODATION

The Cadell Apartment forms the ground floor of this listed Victorian town house providing exceptionally spacious and elegant accommodation (75 sq metres) with pleasant views from the bay window along the tree lined approach to Thomas Telford's Dean Bridge and Edinburgh City Centre.

The apartment retains many period features and comprises:

• A generous sitting room with integral kitchen, dining area and bay window
• One double bedroom with a super king-size double bed
• A bathroom with bath/shower, bidet and toilet

To sleep an additional person, a quality fold-down bed or cot can be requested.

LOCATION / AMENITIES

The Cadell Apartment offers the perfect base for holidays or business and is ideally located in a prime residential area close to a variety of local amenities and attractions. Nearby (less than 0.5 mile) is a Waitrose supermarket, whilst a short walk down the hill is Stockbridge, one of the City's original 'villages', which has many excellent small shops offering fresh produce, a delicatessen, post office, library, public swimming pool and a good variety of restaurants, contemporary wine bars and traditional Scottish pubs.

The City Centre is reached by a short walk over Thomas Telford's Dean Bridge spanning the Water of Leith, with the historic Dean Village in the valley to the west and the private wooded Dean Gardens to the east - access to which is available to guests.

To the north, by way of Stockbridge, the Water of Leith and Inverleith Park is the world renowned Royal Botanic Garden. While to the west and within a 10 minute walk from the apartments are The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and the Dean Gallery with examples of modern Scottish and European sculpture and art - both galleries have excellent cafeteria / coffee shops.

Frequent bus servces operate to all areas just a minute's walk away providing easy access to the Royal Yacht Britannia, the National Museum of Scotland, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Scottish Parliament.

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

Brian, the resident owner, is on hand to meet and show you around, as well as being available throughout your stay should you require advice or assistance. Your accommodation will be available from 1.00 pm, or as soon after as possible. We can also arrange a baggage drop if required.

The accommodation should be vacated no later than 10.30 am, unless by prior arrangement.

PAYMENT

A 25% deposit is payable on booking. The outstanding balance can be paid when you're here. We don't require a security deposit, but guests should report any damage or breakage as soon as possible.

no problems, friendly staff.

Product:

excellent location.Impressive building, lovely clean light big rooms. very comfy bed. kitchen area well equipped. lovely big bathroom.very generous welcome pack. only complaint - tired settee and chairs, and was not informed it was on a busy road - lots of traffic noise. but we would go back.
